MEN: 5 reasons that I absolutely LOVE and ADMIRE them

I am proud to be a wombman. That I am. But I promise you there are things about men, the opposite sex, that I both admire and love. Here it goes:

1. Men are simple. I didn’t say men are stupid. I said they are simple. It doesn’t take a lot to satisfy them. A good sandwich or their favorite tool for a birthday present means the world to them. Cost is of no importance…
2. Men can have sex without emotion. Sex is just that: an act. It does not indicate a deep heart felt love/commitment between 2 people when the act goes down. When a man inserts his penis into a vagina he’s not thinking “Oh I think I love her! Oh I think we’ll be married soon! Oh I want to be with her for the rest of my life!” They just do it, enjoy it and that’s that.
3. Men conceal their emotions. This may be because they were told as little boys not to cry or to man up in tough situations. But being emotional has a tendency to throw ones decision making off. And it’s difficult to discuss important matters when one is emotional.
4. Men can get along well with each other. I’ve seen dudes walk up to a basketball court, not knowing anyone, play 3-4 games, drink beers afterwards, dap each other up and walk away, having had a great time! I also know that men could care less about what their homeboy has on or where he bought it from or if it looks better than what he has on. If they check each other out (the old head-to-toe/up-and-down-look) they don’t really make it known.
5. Men are confident, they persevere and they are strong physically and mentally. They can make a woman and child feel protected just by being there. They truly are warriors.

Okay, so go ahead. Scrutinize everything I’ve just said if you must. But do know that this is MY truth. Again it’s what I FEEL and what I have come to know about these beautiful beings called men. I love ‘em!!!
